
Kumar Malavalli
Chairman
Kumar Malavalli is widely considered to be the visionary behind Fibre Channel storage fabrics, an evolutionary technology that enabled the development of production-class storage area networks (SANs) and a multi-billion dollar market segment. Kumar co-founded and was CTO of Brocade Communications, the leading provider of storage area networking infrastructure. Among his most significant industry contributions are serving as the chairman of the ANSI T11 Technical Committee, and in various management and technical capacities for Amdahl, Canstar, and Hewlett-Packard.
In 2003 the Silicon Valley Engineering Council (SVEC) recognized his distinguished career accomplishments and contributions to technology and society by inducting Kumar into the SVEC Hall of Fame. Other honors include receiving the prestigious INCITS award for extraordinary leadership and in recognition of his critical role in developing 17 standards in the SAN industry.
Kumar has served on the board of both the SNIA and FCIA. Kumar holds several patents in fibre channel including zoning for storage area networks. He has established the Kumar Malavalli Endowed Chair in Storage Systems Research at UC Santa Cruz.

Nandini Jolly
President / CEO and Co-Founder
Nandini Jolly is the company’s Co-Founder, President & CEO. Responsible for CryptoMill’s strategic direction & vison, Nandini has been focused on business and product development, sales, fund raising and management of day-to-day operations. For over three years, Nandini has been the driving force behind the Company’s success. Nandini’s goal is to strive to make the world a safer place by preserving information and data and make CryptoMill’s security software the standard for the 21st century.
Prior to founding CryptoMill in 2005, Nandini served as Vice President of Global Treasury Services and Financial Risk Management for Bank of America as well as Senior Manager at Deloitte and Touche where she was part of the national financial services industry group for risk management.
Nandini holds a Masters in International Finance and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the London Business School.

Dan Shea
Technical Advisor
Dan was a Corporate Officer at RIM and had company wide responsibility for Quality, and was the Executive owner of the BlackBerry Accessories business. Prior to RIM, Dan was the CTO of Celestica from 995 to 2007.
Recognized as an industry expert in electronic manufacturing technology with particular emphasis in Environmentally Responsible Electronics, Dan was a Founding Executive at Celestica Inc and was instrumental in growing Celestica from $1B in revenue to over $10B and eventually in taking the company public. Dan was responsible for all aspects of Celestica’s technology leadership.
IBM Power Systems Division - Director - 1990-1995, Dan is a B.A.S.C. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, 1980. He also sits on several advisory boards including University of Toronto Engineering Dean’s Advisory Board, University of Toronto Masters in Telecommunications (founding member) , ADMI - Advanced Design & Manufacturing Institute, INEMI - International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative and Queen’s MBA for Science and Technology (founding member).
